The Vila do Farol has a unique design created to look like the bow of a ship from the exterior and is a very attractive hotel inside. The huge swimming pool complex is the focal point of this lively hotel where quiet areas can be hard to find due to so many organised games and daytime activities which are accompanied by loud music. The Vila do Farol is a great choice for families as there are plenty of outdoor activities for children, however the entertainment on offer is very Italian orientated.
The main restaurant offers an extensive menu including many Italian dishes, a reflection of the owners country of origin while the beachside restaurant offers more of a snack selection including grills, pizza, pasta and salads. The hotel also has a few shops, a games room and a bar/disco.
Directly behind the hotel the glorious white sandy beach stretches for over a kilometre in each direction.
