The Morabeza, a local word for hospitality, is the most established hotel on Sal. Its popularity is largely due to its fantastic location right on the white sandy beach of Santa Maria and the welcome and personal service that guests receive. Originally the home of a Belgian family, the Morabeza is still owned by the same family and is now run by the granddaughter of the original founders.

Property Details
The grounds are large with tropical flowers lining pathways leading down to the beach club which is the perfect spot for lunch as well as taking advantage of the superb watersports facilities. There are numerous activities to choose from, however there is no music by the pool to disturb the tranquillity of this hotel. There is a weekly barbecue and live music most evenings, plus the local bars of Santa Maria are just a short stroll away.
