The capital of Peru, Lima, is an ancient Spanish city, which was founded in the mid 1500 hundreds. This city inhabits over 8 million people, 26 million in total, and has got superb museums, fine galleries, and impressive monuments. Lima has also got a more modernised side, with an active nightlife, bars, pubs, casinos and fine restaurants. This goes for all the major towns and tourist resorts in Peru.
