Indonesia is a unique and beautiful part of the Far East with over 300 volcanoes and 3,000 islands stretching from the Pacific to the Indian Ocean.
Bali, known as the 'Island of the God's', is one of the most stunning and enchanting destinations to visit in Asia. Bali's natural attractions include miles of sandy beaches, picturesque rice terraces, active towering volcanoes over 3,000 meters high, fast flowing rivers, deep ravines, crystal clear crater lakes, sacred caves, and lush tropical forests full of exotic wildlife.
The island's rich cultural heritage is visible everywhere, there are over 20,000 temples and palaces on the island, colorful festivals and ceremonies are frequent, incorporating local drama, music, and dance.
The main tourist areas of Bali are all located in the south. Nusa Dua on the southern tip of Bali is an area that has been dedicated to tourism and has a number of superb hotels. Sanur on the East coast is quieter with fabulous beaches and an excellent selection of shops and restaurants. Kuta on the west coast is young and lively. Ubud, which is inland, is the cultural center of the island where there are painters, sculptors and weavers making traditional Balinese art and handicrafts.
Lombok is a 25 minute flight or 2.5 hour boat journey from Bali and is delightfully unspoilt. Pristine beaches, beautiful scenery, temples and palaces make Lombok an excellent excursion or a twin center destination for total relaxation.
Bali is a superb all round destination with welcoming and friendly people, excellent beaches, a vast array of things to see and do plus an excellent choice of restaurants and nightlife for all budgets and tastes.
